Is Money Important?

People always say money is not important because it can't buy something valuable, like love or time. Truely, I was a very parsimonious and selfish person. I didn't like to spend money on other people, if they didn't benefit me. Since I knew what is money, I was always sensitive to it. For example, I looked at people when they dropped something, and then I would think whether it is money or not. I grew up in a family which was between affluence and poverty. Sometimes my mom would be worried about how to pay a bill, if my dad spent too much money. Perhaps that was why I was sensitive to it. Now, I have changed my view of money because one of my friends is very willing to pick up tabs, even if he doesn't know a person. After I knew him, I noticed human is very delighted to receive a gift. A gift can make a relation closer, but the gift doesn't need to be costly.I think the gift is shown you are likely to be a friend with the receiver. Can money buy time? Of course, money can't trade for the time that is already past. Nevertheless, money can really save our time. Money can decide what transportation we take or use by. Therefore, money is very important for me, but the point is how I spend my money on. If someone tells you that the person doesn't care of money, we should be care of the person.
